Overview

A leading global multidisciplinary property consultancy has instructed Beach Baker to recruit a MRICS Valuation Surveyor to join their Bristol office, focusing on the Student Housing sector which is part of the wider Living team. This includes a broad range of residential-led assets such as student accommodation, build-to-rent, co-living, and other operational residential property types.

The successful candidate will join a specialist valuation team with a national remit, working with high-profile clients, and will have the opportunity to travel to key university towns and cities across the UK. The team is known for its supportive and progressive culture, with a strong emphasis on personal development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing valuations of specialist properties and development sites, often with a high level of complexity.
  • Providing strategic advice on the operational performance of assets for landlords and operators.
  • Producing high-quality valuation reports and delivering clear, professional advice to clients.
Candidate Requirements
  • RICS-accredited degree in Real Estate or similar.
  • MRICS and RICS Registered Valuer.
  • An interest in the residential and living sectors, with a genuine interest in operational real estate.
  • Excellent written and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
  • Keen to build a career in a specialist and growing area
