Valuation Control Analyst: Fixed Income (IPV) in London on a 12‑month contract. Hybrid role, minimum 50% onsite.

Key responsibilities include owning monthly IPV reviews, investigating valuation differences, and interacting with Front Office, Risk and Finance to ensure accurate KPIs and timely reporting. Qualified candidates will have a finance degree with strong mathematical background, plus experience in valuations/Risk/P&L within financial services and solid Fixed Income product knowledge.

Qualifikationen

• Finance-based degree and strong mathematical background required.
• Experience in Valuations, IPV, P&L or Risk teams within financial services preferred.
• Solid understanding of Fixed Income products and their risks.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to read/debug complex VBA modules.

Aufgaben

• Own and deliver monthly IPV reviews with tight deadlines.
• Investigate valuation differences and escalate to appropriate teams.
• Engage with Front Office, Risk, Finance, auditors and management on issues.
• Produce KPIs and ensure timely submissions to external pricing providers.
• Maintain and improve SOPs; drive process improvements and efficiencies.
• Support team coverage and contribute to medium-sized projects.
• Build strong working relationships across Product Control, Front Office and Risk.
