Job summary

Arnold Clark is seeking a motivated Valeter for our Motorstore in Leyland. The role focuses on presenting clean, polished vehicles and working as part of a supportive team.

The position suits someone who enjoys a physical, hands-on role, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Training through the Arnold Clark Valet Academy is provided, with opportunities for progression within the branch.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Basic computer skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work as part of a team.
• The ability to multi-task.
• Willingness to participate in training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
• Cleaning vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washer.
• Using a high-powered vacuum to clean and shampoo vehicle interiors.
• Working with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork.
• Complying with health and safety procedures while working with chemicals.
• Maintaining and securing equipment and reporting defects.
