Job summary

The Vella Group Repair Centres in Coventry is seeking an experienced valeter to clean the interior and exterior of vehicles before and after repairs. You will be responsible for valeting to a high standard and must manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

This role features a 42.5 hour week, a salary of £29,724.50 plus benefits, and a range of company perks designed to support your wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Ideally you have previous valet/detailing experience.
• You are good at time-keeping and time-management.
• You have experience with customer service.
• You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• You are a team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out valeting operations to the agreed method and highest standard.
• Clean vehicles within the given time frame.
• Good housekeeping.
• Keeping solvents and cleaning fluids organised.
• Keeping the Valet area clean and free from sources of ignition.
• If working inside with solvents, ensuring the area is well ventilated.
• Wearing protective clothing such as eye protection and gloves.
• External checks of equipment such as water pressure and report defects.
• You may be required on occasion to hand over courtesy cars to customers and fully explain the controls to the customer.
• General cleaning duties.
