Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled vehicle technician for a 5-day, Monday–Friday role in the Brighton area. You will service and repair modern Audi, VW, SEAT, CUPRA, and Škoda vehicles using ODIS and VCDS diagnostic tools, ensuring high-quality results.

The position offers a guaranteed base salary of £38,000–£45,000 with a transparent bonus scheme and opportunities for a £55,000+ realistic OTE. Relocation or travel is not required, and weekend work is strictly avoided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Repair or time-served equivalent.
• 2-3+ years of experience with VAG platforms in a Main Dealer or accredited specialist.
• Confident diagnostic competence using ODIS or VCDS software.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled servicing and mechanical repairs across Audi, VW, SEAT, CUPRA, and Škoda models.
• Utilise ODIS and diagnostic suites to isolate faults.
• Perform software updates, component coding, and detailed logging on official brand platforms.
• Conduct digital Video Health Checks (VHCs) to communicate safety needs.
• Maintain clean bay standards and uphold right-first-time quality.

What You'll Be Doing

• Executing scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, and warranty work across modern Audi, VW, SEAT, CUPRA, and Škoda models.
• Utilizing ODIS factory software and diagnostic suites to isolate complex electrical, mechanical, and engine management faults.
• Performing software updates, component coding, and precise technical logging via official brand platforms.
• Carrying out digital Video Health Checks (VHCs) to communicate vehicle safety needs clearly.
• Maintaining clean bay standards and upholding right-first-time quality on every job.

What We're Looking For

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Repair (or time-served equivalent).
• Experience: 2-3+ years of experience with VAG platforms inside a Main Dealer or accredited specialist.
• Skills: Confident diagnostic competence using ODIS or VCDS software.
• Licence: Full UK Driving Licence.
