Job summary

The Lanes Group are the UK’s largest independent provider of water and wastewater solutions and services, located in Chester. This Industrial Vacuum Tanker Operator role requires operating DISAB vacuum tankers safely, removing waste, and performing basic vehicle checks, with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving license with minimal points, HGV Class 2 (Class 1 advantageous), CSCS and Confined Space certs, plus experience with DISAB equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
• CSCS and Confined Space certs required.
• HGV Class 2 license required (Class 1 an advantage).
• Experience with DISAB (Air Mover) equipment is required.
• Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Operate DISAB vacuum tankers safely on planned and reactive works.
• Remove wet/dry waste from drainage systems and industrial environments.
• Complete vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
