Job summary

Funeral Partners Ltd is seeking two Funeral Arrangers to join our Harehills branch. The role is part time (18.75 hours per week) and involves supporting families through the funeral process with empathy and attention to detail.

Training is provided to enable you to handle paperwork accurately and hand over to the Funeral Director for a smooth day-of service. Hours are between 09:00-16:00, Monday to Friday, with duties covering holiday and sickness absences across branches as needed.

Qualifications

• Willing to undergo training for Funeral Arranger duties.
• Strong customer service and communication.
• Ability to cover holidays and sickness across branches.

Responsibilities

• Support families in making funeral arrangements and provide a warm welcome.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Provide a detailed handover to the Funeral Director so every detail goes to plan on the day.

The Opportunity

Based at Wm. Dodgson & Son Funeral Services - Harehills, our Funeral Arrangers are a very special part of our team; caring and organised they offer a warm welcome, and guide our families through the whole funeral process. They couple their incredible interpersonal and listening skills, with an eye for detail and accurate administrative skills.

As well as supporting families in making funeral arrangements, Funeral Arrangers are responsible for ensuring all the relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately, and on time. They are also responsible for providing a detailed handover to the Funeral Director, in order that every little detail goes to plan on the day.

Our Funeral Arrangers have an important role within the community, building strong working relationships as well as organising fundraising activities to support organisations in the local community.

We are seeking two flexible and adaptable Funeral Arrangers. Hours will be worked as required to meet the needs of the business and may vary from week to week. The role will involve covering colleagues during holidays and sickness absence, including providing support for the other Funeral Arranger role and across other branches when required.
