Job summary

Bishop Heber is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Support) to join our dynamic 11-18 secondary school. The post requires assisting students in lessons and working closely with teaching and support staff to promote inclusive learning.

The role is term-time only until 31 August 2027, with a pro rata salary between £26,016 and £26,847 for 28.66 hours per week. DBS disclosure is required prior to appointment.

Actual Salary for 28.66 hours is £17,387 to £18,349

We require as soon as possible an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join this lively and successful 11-18 Secondary School.

The successful applicant will be required to support students in lessons and will work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff.

A desire to make a positive contribution to the life of the School and an enjoyment of working with children are essential. A good level of education is required, with Numeracy and Literacy skills to GCSE or equivalent (A-C).
