As Head of Research Services (Open Research), you will lead change across the institution by developing and embedding open research practices. You will manage a team and oversee areas such as research data management, funder compliance, and open access expansion. You will establish and nurture partnerships within the faculties and professional services at the University of Leeds, as well as externally. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Research Services (Research Intelligence) to provide seamless services to the research community, while leading related research services portfolios.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of open research principles and practices, with experience in leading and developing a high-quality, user-focused research service. You should possess excellent leadership and people management skills and be capable of building broad-based, successful partnerships and networks.
