Fixed Term
Freelands Foundation believes art is central to a broad and balanced education, and a right for everyone. Our approach combines action research, through academic commissions, workshops, discussions, exhibitions, publications, films, partnerships and a dedicated library; and funding, through grants, awards, fellowships and residencies.
As we approaches our 10-year anniversary in 2025, we are embarking on the development of a new website. It will serve as a hub for the organisation providing information and resources for a range of users. As part of this development, we intend to improve the management and preservation of our digital assets.
We are looking for a Digital Asset Manager to oversee the management, preservation and use of Freelands Foundation’s digital assets, including over 51,000 images, 2000 videos, 600 audio files and 12,000 PDF resources, totalling over 1000 GB.
The Digital Asset Manager will create and manage a solution to preserve this content and enable the population of the website’s new resource hub. The successful candidate will establish and deliver a programme of organisation and care.
The Digital Asset Manager will report to the Head of Communications (maternity cover) and work closely with the Website Project Manager.
