SMH BCL Accountants Limited is looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Sheffield. In this role, you will provide efficient support to directors and managers, ensuring that audit assignments meet technical standards and client care is prioritized.

The ideal candidate will possess ACA or ACCA qualifications, alongside a minimum of 3 years in audit work. Benefits include a salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000, 25 days holiday, life assurance, and various perks to support staff wellbeing.

What will you be doing in the role?

You will provide efficient support and assistance to directors and managers, ensuring deadlines are met, technical work is completed in line with firm procedures, and the highest standards of client care are maintained. The role carries responsibility for the completion of audit and accounting assignments for our client base, in line with the firm’s technical standards and procedures

Job purpose:

• Senior audit work and supporting the audit team
