Loughborough University seeks an Assistant Lecturer in Human Geography for a fixed term of 2 years starting February 2014. The candidates should hold a PhD and demonstrate expertise in teaching and research within an academic environment. This role includes supervising postgraduate students and contributing to various modules.

Fixed-term for 2 years commencing on 1 February 2014 (or as soon as possible thereafter); salary range £28,132 to £36,661.
The Department of Geography, which sits with the School of Social, Political and Geographical Sciences, seeks to appoint an assistant lecturer in human geography from 1 February 2014.
Applicants with a PhD in Human Geography, experience of the academic environment, and possessing an emerging research profile are welcomed. You will be expected to contribute to teaching on a range of modules, including postgraduate taught modules and to supervise dissertation students. Expertise in economic, political or urban geography will be an advantage.
