Job summary

Brimstone UXO seeks a qualified Geophysicist to join Brimstone UXO. You will process, analyse and interpret geophysical data to identify UXO and support safe project delivery, working with engineering teams and clients.

The role requires near-surface geophysics experience, data interpretation skills, and proficiency with Oasis Montaj, SonarWiz, QGIS, and GIS platforms. You will contribute to tender submissions, design surveys and produce technical reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in near-surface geophysics or UXO detection.
• Experience with geophysical processing software.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, process, quality control and interpret geophysical datasets for UXO risk mitigation projects.
• Produce dig lists, anomaly maps, interpretation grids and technical reporting outputs.
• Support field survey teams with geophysical data processing.
• Contribute technical input to project planning, survey design and tender submissions.
• Liaise with clients and internal project teams as necessary/appropriate.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and data management standards.
• Contribute to the development of new geophysical methodologies and technologies.
