Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking a UX/UI Designer in Manchester to shape GUIs and app interfaces across desktop, mobile, web and embedded displays.

You will build scalable design systems, collaborate with software and hardware teams, and contribute to UX research and prototype workflows, with a passion for music and creator-focused tech. This is an on-site role in Manchester with five days in the office.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience designing applications and GUIs using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience designing for embedded systems, hardware displays or GUI-driven products.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems, with a structured UI design approach.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end design of complex digital products or interfaces.
• Passion for music, audio technology or creator-focused products is a must-have.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging GUIs and user interfaces for desktop, mobile, web and embedded applications.
• Develop scalable design systems, user flows, wireframes and interaction patterns across multiple products.

We are partnered with a globally recognised technology organisation behind professional products used by musicians, producers, engineers, venues and touring professionals around the world.

They are looking for a UX/UI Designer based in Manchester, UK, to help shape the user experience and graphical user interfaces (GUI) of an exciting portfolio of professional hardware and software products.Working across digital platforms and embedded displays, you'll help bring complex technology to life through intuitive, visually engaging design.

In this UX/UI Designer role, you will:

• Design engaging GUIs and user interfaces for desktop, mobile, web and embedded applications
• Develop scalable design systems, user flows, wireframes and interaction patterns across multiple products
• Work closely with software, hardware and product teams to shape how users interact with embedded GUIs, physical controls and digital interfaces
• Contribute to UX research, prototyping, usability improvements and AI-assisted design workflows

The ideal UX/UI Designer will have:

• Commercial experience designing applications and graphical user interfaces using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience designing for embedded systems, hardware displays or GUI-driven technology products
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems, with a structured and systematic approach to UI design
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design of complex applications, digital products or technology-driven interfaces
• A passion for music, audio technology or creator-focused products is must-have.
