Job description
About Foundation Health

Foundation Health is transforming healthcare through an AI-powered digital pharmacy platform that seamlessly connects operational infrastructure with high quality patient experiences. Our mission is to transform patient centric care by connecting fragmented infrastructure, optimizing care coordination, and removing friction from the patient journey.

This ambitious vision is only achievable with the dedication of the right team propelling us forward. We firmly believe that a supportive and inspiring work environment fuels creativity, transforming it into groundbreaking innovation. It is this very innovation that not only benefits our organization but also positively impacts our people, partners, and most importantly, our patients.

The Role

As a UX/UI Designer, you’ll be at the centre of how we bring healthcare to life through design. You’ll craft seamless, intuitive experiences that empower patients, providers, and partners alike. This role blends big-picture thinking with pixel-perfect execution – from early sketches and prototypes to production-ready interfaces.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and the design lead, turning ideas into elegant, scalable solutions. With your understanding of frontend fundamentals (HTML/CSS, responsive design), you’ll ensure your designs are not only inspiring but also ready for seamless implementation.

This is an opportunity to join a small but ambitious design team, where your voice matters and your work will have a direct impact on both our products and our design culture.

What You’ll Do
  • Design end-to-end digital experiences that make healthcare effortless to access.
  • Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI.
  • Partner with product and engineering to balance usability, feasibility, and delight.
  • Apply your knowledge of frontend principles (HTML, CSS, responsive design) to create developer-friendly designs.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure scalability, accessibility, and brand cohesion.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather insights to refine experiences.
  • Communicate design decisions with clarity across teams.
  • Own projects from concept to launch, thriving in a feedback-driven, collaborative environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2-4 years of UX/UI design experience in a tech-driven environment.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction design, visual craft, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency designing both client-facing and customer-facing experiences.
  • Ability to simplify complexity into intuitive user journeys.
  • Proficiency in Figma (bonus: Miro or similar collaboration tools).
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design; React or component library experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive mindset – you’re comfortable taking ownership and driving projects forward.
  • Bonus: experience designing in healthcare (telehealth, diagnostics, pharmacy), but not required.
Why You’ll Love Working Here

At Foundation Health, you won’t just be designing interfaces, you’ll be shaping the way people experience healthcare. Your work will have a real-world impact, improving lives and helping reimagine an industry that touches everyone.
