Job summary

Google is seeking an Interaction Designer to transform complex tasks into intuitive experiences. You will flow from concept to launch, collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, and Content Strategy to evolve the Google design language and deliver high-impact health-focused products.

You will own end-to-end design workstreams, scale design systems, and contribute to a team that values user-centered innovation across web and mobile surfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Experience collaborating directly with Product Managers and Software Engineers from concept to launch.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and deliver high-craft interaction and visual design solutions across end-to-end user journeys with minimal oversight.
• Identify patterns across features and workflows, anticipate edge cases and technical dependencies, and address root-cause user pain points rather than surface symptoms.
• Collaborate daily with PM, Engineering, UX Research, and Content Design to align on priorities, trade-offs, and launch-readiness quality bars.
• Partner with UX Researchers and leverage quantitative product metrics to validate hypotheses, iterate on prototypes, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Apply and contribute to Google design systems, maintaining high visual and interaction polish across web and mobile surfaces.
