  • Translate research findings into intuitive, responsive, and accessible UI designs across web and software applications.
  • Produce wireframes, prototypes, mock‑ups, and user flows to explore, communicate, and validate design concepts with stakeholders.
  • Develop effective information architecture to support clarity, usability, and user comprehension.
  • Optimise user journeys by identifying usability issues and applying industry best practice to continually improve the interface experience.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and analysts to translate business requirements into high‑fidelity, user‑centred designs.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, aligning design deliverables with sprint cycles and project timelines.
  • Ensure all designs align with accessibility standards.
  • Keep up to date with emerging UI/UX techniques, tools, and design technologies.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the organisation’s design system, ensuring visual consistency and brand alignment.
  • Conduct usability testing, evaluate feedback, and iterate designs to meet both user needs and business objectives.
  • Document design decisions, communicate progress clearly, and proactively highlight risks or blockers.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, UX/UI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Demonstrable experience as a UX or UI Designer, supported by a portfolio showcasing user‑centred design work.
  • Proficiency in Figma, with additional experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design principles, cross‑browser behaviour, and accessibility considerations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
