Job summary

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council’s Children’s Services seeks a safeguarding professional to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). You will represent Children's Services, collaborating with partner agencies to assess risk and ensure timely, right-level support for children and families.

The role offers home working options and a dynamic team focused on safeguarding, professional development and reflective practice within a fast-paced environment.

The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is a dynamic and highly rewarding environment at the heart of Children's Services, where timely decision-making helps keep children safe and promotes positive outcomes for families.
Representing Children's Services within MASH, you will work collaboratively with a range of partner agencies, sharing information, assessing risk, and ensuring that children and young people receive the right support at the right time.
