Job summary

Moon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Utility Surveyor for a permanent role centred around the North West and surrounding areas. You will conduct utility and topographical surveys, locate underground services using GPR and electromagnetic locating methods, and produce survey drawings and CAD outputs.

The role requires a UK driving licence, a relevant surveying qualification, and willingness to travel; you will work with Surveying Managers to maintain QA/QC standards and support project

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Utility Surveyor.
• Experience with GPR and electromagnetic locating techniques.
• Experience using CAD software.
• Understanding of PAS 128 standards.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A surveying-related qualification would be advantageous.
• Topographical surveying experience is desirable, but not essential.
• A flexible approach to travel and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking utility and/or topographical surveys.

• Producing utility survey drawings and reports.

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges on site.
• Mentoring and supporting less experienced team members.
• Contributing to the continued development of the survey department.

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 + Vehicle + Benefits

Are you an experienced Utility Surveyor looking for your next opportunity?

We're looking for a skilled and proactive Utility Surveyor to join our growing survey team, working across a diverse range of projects and sectors.

You'll work alongside Surveying Managers and Project Managers, delivering high-quality utility and topographical surveys while using industry-leading surveying techniques and equipment.
