Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren in the United Kingdom is seeking a Utility Surveyor to deliver accurate underground utility information for major infrastructure projects. You will undertake utility surveying and mapping to PAS128:2022 standards, using EML, GPR and GNSS, and produce deliverables that support client decisions and project timelines.

You will work closely with colleagues, clients and contractors on site, maintain equipment, and help train junior surveyors.

Qualifications

• ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Utility Mapping & Surveying or relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of PAS128:2022 utility surveying standards.
• Proficiency with EML, GPR and GNSS technologies.
• Ability to perform data processing, interpretation and deliverables.
• Strong technical, communication and client-facing skills.
• Team-oriented with a can-do attitude and a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake utility surveying and mapping projects to PAS128:2022 standards.
• Identify, trace, locate and capture underground utilities including electricity, gas, water and telecoms.
• Carry out manhole inspections, chamber surveys and measurements where required.
• Complete utility surveys in line with DM standards and produce deliverables.
• Capture, manage and process survey data; maintain equipment and calibrations.
• Liaise with colleagues, clients, contractors and stakeholders on site.
• Assist in training junior utility surveyors and follow safety procedures.
