Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Utility Surveyor to join a fast‑growing land survey company. This hybrid role covers sites across Bristol and surrounding areas, offering training and clear progression pathways while using cutting‑edge technology across PAS128‑compliant surveys.

You will conduct utility surveys, operate Ground Penetrating Radar, process data, and produce CAD deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility surveying on diverse sites.
• Solid understanding of PAS128 standards.
• Valid full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Comfortable with away-from-home stays during projects.

Responsibilities

• Survey across a wide range of sites using utility surveying techniques.
• Operate Ground Penetrating Radar and other equipment.
• Download, process and interpret survey data.
• Produce accurate CAD drawings and final survey deliverables.

Utility Surveyor

Hybrid role - You can be based in or around the following locations: Bristol, Swindon, Bath, Weston-super-Mare, Newport, Yate, Thornbury, Portishead, Avonmouth, Wells.

£30,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + Enhanced Pension + Training + Progression + Van + Fuel Card + Healthcare.

We are looking for an experienced Utility Surveyor to join a fast‑growing, market‑leading land survey company. This role offers extensive training and structured long‑term progression opportunities while working with cutting‑edge technology across a wide range of specialist services.

Role Responsibilities

• Utility surveying across a wide variety of sites
• Conducting surveys using Ground Penetrating Radar and other specialist equipment
• Downloading, processing and interpreting survey data
• Producing accurate CAD drawings and final survey deliverables

Required Qualifications & Attributes

• Previous Utility Surveying experience
• Good understanding of PAS128 standards
• Full UK driving licence
• Happy to travel and stay away from home
