Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Utility Surveying Manager (Office Based) in Nottingham. You will lead a growing utilities team, manage projects from quotation through to delivery, and ensure quality control and client liaison.

The role is office-based with typical projects within a 1.5 hour radius. We welcome experienced Utility Surveyors or Team Leads looking to step into management, with a clear path for progression, training, and an emphasis on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Utility Surveyor, Senior Utility Surveyor, or Team Lead.
• Strong background in utility surveying and PAS 128 projects.
• Experience managing people, projects, and client relationships.
• Looking to progress into department management.

Are you an experienced Utility Surveyor or Team Leader looking to take the next step into a management position where you can lead a growing team and have a real impact on the future of a business?

Established since 2014, they have grown to around 30 employees and are now looking to further expand their utilities division, offering an excellent opportunity for the right individual to lead and develop a team of Utility Surveyors.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the utilities department, overseeing projects from initial quotation through to final delivery and sign-off. You will prepare job packs, allocate work, liaise with clients, manage quality control processes, and support the continued growth of the utility surveying team. The role is primarily office-based in Nottingham, with projects generally located within 1.5 hours of the office, ensuring very little time away from home.
