Job summary

Arla is seeking a Multi-Skilled Utilities Technician to own critical utility assets across the site, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant operation through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with engineering, contractors and operations to maximise asset performance and site uptime.

In this Monday–Friday 37.5-hour role, you will perform preventative maintenance, fault finding and on-call rotation, with responsibilities spanning steam, refrigeration, boilers,

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification required.
• Experience in manufacturing, food, FMCG or industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding capability and contractor management experience.
• Understanding of preventative maintenance principles.
• Exposure to CMMS systems and RCA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance, reliability and condition of designated utility assets and plant rooms.
• Execute planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and reliability improvement activities across utilities systems.
• Ensure statutory inspections, compliance actions and maintenance requirements remain up to date.
• Coordinate and manage specialist contractors, ensuring work is completed safely and to required standards.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve asset performance.
