Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Utilities Manager in London to drive client engagements across the energy transition. You will lead with structured problem solving, apply innovative technologies and manage complex projects for utility clients, delivering data-driven insights and measurable outcomes.

The role combines strategic consulting with hands-on delivery, requiring leadership, strong stakeholder engagement, and a track record in low-carbon asset development and operations.

Qualifications

• Significant years of utilities industry experience.
• Technical expertise in low-carbon asset development/operations.
• Experience with engineering stakeholders to drive operational excellence in low carbon power.
• Experience designing new business models or transforming existing ones.
• Expert knowledge in energy system elements (gas to hydrogen, balancing markets).
• Understanding UK regulatory environment and market changes.
• Leadership in managing teams and mentorship.
• Project management of high-complexity projects with client satisfaction.
• Strong consulting background with stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement with utilities sector stakeholders to define and deliver outcomes.
• Apply structured problem solving to design innovative technology-enabled solutions.
• Deliver data-driven consulting and actionable insights for energy transition.
• Recommend and apply best-in-class technologies to address client questions.
• Draw insights from financial and market data analyses to inform decisions.
• Manage projects using Agile, Lean and Design Thinking methods.
