Description

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Utilities Administrator to join our team. This role is key in supporting customer, compliance and planning functions, ensuring processes run smoothly and deadlines are met. You’ll need strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and confidence working with both internal teams and external clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, customer and operational teams with organised and co-ordinated administration
  • Prepare and send customer letters accurately and on time, in line with client requirements.
  • Maintain clear, accurate records (audits, site documentation, etc.).
  • Assist with Streetworks administration using Street Manager.
  • Liaise with internal teams (such as site managers and sub-contractors) to gather information and keep tasks on track.
  • Support reporting processes by compiling and checking information
  • Generate reports to monitor compliance and performance against KPIs
  • Help maintain positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Proven experience in an administrative role
  • Previous experience in compliance, utilities, construction, or a similar regulated environment (desirable but not essential).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex administrative processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to create, update, and maintain reports and records.
  • Experience using systems or databases (knowledge of Street Manager is an advantage).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Highly methodical, efficient, and able to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
