We’re looking for an Associate User Researcher to join our team at Entrust. In this role, you’ll:

  • Work within an agile product development team as well as supporting initiatives in marketing and sales;
  • Conduct a range of user research type from early-stage discovery to UX/usability;
  • Participate in all aspects of user research including developing briefs and screeners, facilitating research and synthesizing and sharing results;
  • Surface insights that shape the direction of the company;

As an Associate UX Researcher, we understand you may be early in your career, so we’ll provide learning opportunities, mentorship and support as you develop. You’ll start by supporting smaller, well-scoped pieces of work and as you build confidence, you’ll take on more responsibility and greater challenges.

What you’ll do at Entrust

  • Data processing and analysis on a range of passive data streams;
  • Design, organize and conduct primary research using a variety of methods;
  • Shadow more experienced researchers on ongoing and new projects and take on progressively more responsibility for different parts of the research process over time;
  • Own project operations to support project success: recruitment, note-taking, data analysis and management, insight generation and insight communication across a diverse portfolio of projects;
  • Develop a rigorous approach to data collection, synthesis, and storytelling through our research repository tool;
  • Be a reliable and credible voice of users, providing guidance and influencing decisions that impact Entrux’s direction as a company;
  • Contribute to the high quality of our work through attention to detail, asking the right questions, identifying opportunities for and setting up process efficiencies, and problem-solving;
  • Work closely with project managers, designers, developers and our senior user researchers to turn user research findings into stories and actions that lead to valuable product and service features;
  • Be a key contributor in growing the maturity of our User Research practice.

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have 0-3 years of experience in user research or have led qualitative research within your own field.
  • Have a basic understanding and some experience with user‑centred design, user research, and product delivery practices.
  • Organised, resourceful, with a keen eye for detail and a real desire to learn and hone your craft.
  • Positive energy, enthusiasm and an eye for innovation – we are looking for self‑motivated, intellectually curious people who are excited about solving big problem;
  • Keen to grow and take on a progressively greater degree of responsibility and autonomy in designing and delivering timely user research for product teams;
  • Passionate about unpacking messy problems and advocating for customer and user needs with key stakeholders and decision‑makers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A strong communicator who can distil complex concepts and ideas into clear, actionable messages.
