Overview

We are currently seeking a User Researcher to work with our public sector client. This is a 3 months rolling contract in Newcastle with hybrid working. Inside IR35, £(Apply online only). Location: Newcastle - hybrid working. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in user research, with demonstrable experience delivering projects within public sector or government environments.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and conduct user research using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to embed user-centred design practices.
  • Champion user needs and ensure they are central to service design and delivery.
  • Develop research plans and deliver actionable insights to inform product and service development.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Ensure research activities align with GDS guidelines and contribute to service assessments.
  • Maintain research documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of research practices.
