Overview

Contract UX Researcher (Junior–Mid Level) | Outside IR35: Up to £325 a day | Contract: 3–6 months | Start: ASAP | Remote: Must be based in UK

We’re looking for a curious and detail-focused UX Researcher with around 1–2 years of experience to join a growing SaaS business on a contract basis. You’ll be working on a B2B2C platform with varied user groups and journeys, helping the team uncover meaningful insights that shape the product experience.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting user research across projects — from planning sessions to analysing results.
  • Conducting qualitative research such as user interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
  • Turning findings into clear insights and recommendations that help guide design decisions.
  • Collaborating closely with designers and product managers to ensure user needs are at the heart of decisions.
  • Presenting your findings and ideas clearly to the wider product and design teams.
  • Helping to continuously improve research processes and share learnings across the team.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in a UX Research or related user-centred role (agency or in-house).
  • Hands-on experience with qualitative research methods: usability testing, interviews, or journey mapping.
  • A naturally curious mindset, you enjoy asking questions, spotting patterns, and understanding user behaviours.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment.

This role would suit someone early in their UX career who’s excited to build confidence through hands-on research, learning from a talented product and design team, and making a real impact on a product used by thousands.
