A digital services consultancy is looking for experienced User Researchers to join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team focused on creating impactful, user-centred services within the public sector.

You’ll be involved across multiple research engagements for bespoke software solutions and transformations within government/public sector!

Senior Consultant - Minimum of 5 years in consulting or the public sector (ideally mentoring juniors and taking the lead on client engagements)

Lead Consultant - Minimum of 8 years in consulting or the public sector (directly line managing a UR team, contributing to growth and expansion, and taking a lead position with client projects)

Key Responsibilities of the User Researcher:

  1. Taking the lead on end-client engagement projects
  2. Identifying research needs and selecting the best research methods for each project
  3. Developing, documenting, and presenting comprehensive research plans outlining study goals and methodologies
  4. Engaging with users through interviews, workshops, and ethnographic research to build meaningful insights
  5. Analyzing research findings and data to generate valuable insights and actionable recommendations
  6. Synthesizing and documenting findings with tools such as user stories, journey mapping, and storyboarding to convey the full user experience
