A digital services consultancy is looking for experienced User Researchers to join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team focused on creating impactful, user-centred services within the public sector.

You’ll be involved across multiple research engagements for bespoke software solutions and transformations within government/public sector!

Senior Consultant - Minimum of 5 years in consulting or public sector (ideally mentoring juniors and leading client engagements)

Lead Consultant - Minimum of 8 years in consulting or public sector (directly line managing a UR team, contributing to growth and expansion, and taking a lead role in client projects)

Key Responsibilities of the User Researcher:

  • Leading end-client engagement projects
  • Identifying research needs and selecting appropriate research methods for each project
  • Developing, documenting, and presenting comprehensive research plans outlining study goals and methodologies
  • Engaging with users through interviews, workshops, and ethnographic research to gather insights
  • Analyzing research findings to generate valuable insights and actionable recommendations
  • Synthesizing and documenting findings using tools such as user stories, journey maps, and storyboards to convey the full user experience
