Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced User Researcher (SC Cleared) to support user research and adoption studies in Corsham. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting user research and the ability to deliver both qualitative and quantitative analysis. Strong communication skills are necessary for presenting findings to stakeholders. The role is contracted for an initial 3 months with potential for extension.

Job Posting: User Researcher (SC Cleared)

Location: Corsham (2 days per week onsite)

Clearance: Active SC required from day one

Contract: Initial 3 months, with potential extension for long term contract

Rate: DOE/(Outside IR35)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Security Cleared User Researcher to support user research and adoption studies for the development of the Test and Evaluation Marketplace application.

You will engage directly with users and stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring that solutions are usable, valuable, and aligned to genuine user needs. Your insights will play a key role in shaping product and service design at programme level.

User Researcher Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct a range of qualitative and quantitative user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Engage with users and stakeholders to collate requirements and identify opportunities to improve product usability and value.
  • Work closely with Product, Service, and Engineering teams to translate research insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Carry out benefits assessments to measure impact, adoption, and value delivered.
  • Present clear, structured research findings to senior stakeholders to support decision-making across the programme.
User Researcher Requirements
