A digital services consultancy is seeking experienced User Researchers to join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team focused on creating impactful, user-centred services within the public sector.

You will be involved in multiple research engagements for bespoke software solutions and transformations within government/public sector projects.

Senior Consultant - Minimum of 5 years in consulting or the public sector. Ideally, mentoring juniors and taking the lead on client engagements.

Lead Consultant - Minimum of 8 years in consulting or the public sector. Responsible for directly line managing a User Research team, contributing to growth and expansion, and leading client projects.

Key Responsibilities of the User Researcher:

  • Lead end-client engagement projects.
  • Identify research needs and select appropriate research methods for each project.
  • Develop, document, and present comprehensive research plans outlining study goals and methodologies.
  • Engage with users through interviews, workshops, and ethnographic research to gather meaningful insights.
  • Analyze research findings and data to generate valuable insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Synthesize and document findings using tools such as user stories, journey mapping, and storyboarding to illustrate the full user experience.
