A digital services consultancy is seeking experienced User Researchers to join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team focused on creating impactful, user-centred services within the public sector.

You will be involved in multiple research engagements for bespoke software solutions and transformations within government/public sector projects.

Senior Consultant - Minimum of 5 years in consulting or public sector. You will ideally mentor juniors and take the lead on client engagements.

Lead Consultant - Minimum of 8 years in consulting or public sector. You will directly line manage a User Research team, contribute to growth and expansion, and take a lead role in client projects.

Key Responsibilities of the User Researcher:

  • Lead end-client engagement projects.
  • Identify research needs and select appropriate research methods for each project.
  • Develop, document, and present comprehensive research plans with study goals and methodologies.
  • Engage with users through interviews, workshops, and ethnographic research to gather meaningful insights.
  • Analyze research findings and data to generate valuable insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Synthesize and document findings using tools such as user stories, journey maps, and storyboards to convey the full user experience.
