JAM, a UK-based tax services practice, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support UK and US individual tax returns and related compliance work. You will assist with information requests, documentation, and timely submissions, while learning through exposure to a varied client portfolio and study support.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and professional standards as you develop your technical knowledge and contribute to the tax team’s success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tax-related role (internship or similar).
• You should be working towards AAT or ATT, or be willing to pursue a relevant tax qualification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to interact with clients and colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Assist with preparation of UK and US individual tax returns.
• Prepare annual tax return information requests and follow up on missing items.
• Support compliance deadlines with accurate work and organised records.
• Research straightforward tax queries using HMRC, IRS, and relevant resources.
• Keep knowledge of legislation and compliance requirements up to date.
• Support client calls and meetings, taking notes and gathering information.
