Job summary

Core-Asset Consulting Ltd, based in Glasgow, seeks an experienced tax accountant to support US corporate tax workstreams. You will prepare estimates, tax extension calculations, ASC 740 workpapers, collect data, conduct validations and interact with taxing authorities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years' experience, is part-qualified or fully CA/ACA/ACCA, and demonstrates strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced team environment across locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in tax.
• Part qualified or fully CA/ACA/ACCA.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and tax extension calculations for US tax returns.
• Arrange tax accounting calculations and ASC 740 work papers.
• Collect and analyse data for multiple entities.
• Conduct validation controls on internal systems data.
• Prepare Federal and state tax returns and work papers.
• Perform tax research and respond to deficiency notices.
• Support the Tax Manager of the US Corporate tax team with ad hoc duties.
• Continually learn and implement standard processes.
