Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, or related field.
• Some work experience in research, forecasting or analytics at a financial institution, central bank, consultancy or similar.
• Excel skills and experience with Python or R, with a focus on data processing and analysis.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and practical experience applying them to analysis and productivity.
• Improvement-minded: proactively identifies inefficiencies and helps build and implement scalable solutions.
• Detail-oriented and clear communicator: distills complex data into clear conclusions for senior audiences.
• Self-starter, with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of macroeconomic forecasts in partnership with JPM Economics and Strategy Research and with Risk and Finance teams.
• Track economic data releases and market developments, prepare concise commentary, identify risks and implications.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and economic research in response to stakeholder questions.
• Prepare executive-level presentations for senior management and internal stakeholders.
• Work with quantitative model development teams to build and enhance forecasting methodologies.
• Support automation and transformation by streamlining processes and applying AI tools to improve efficiency and control.
• Ensure seamless delivery of scenarios to downstream users across the Firm.
• Manage multiple workstreams and ad hoc requests with accurate, timely delivery.
