Job summary

Seymour John Ltd in Ross-on-Wye is seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor on a temporary basis to join an established construction business. This hands-on role requires stepping into a busy Finance function to make an immediate impact.

You will oversee AP/AR, supplier payments, bank reconciliations, month-end support, and financial reporting with KPI focus; supervision of Accounts Assistants and process improvements are key.

Qualifications

• Experience across AP, AR, banking and expenses.
• Experience supervising finance staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
• Strong Excel and ERP experience.
• Experience with month-end and year-end processes.
• Good financial analysis and data manipulation skills.
• Excellent communication and proactive hands-on approach.
• AAT qualification would be advantageous.
• Construction industry experience desirable.
