Job summary

Local Care Direct is seeking a GP Supervisor to provide senior clinical leadership within urgent primary care across West Yorkshire. The role focuses on managing risk, overseeing patient pathways, and supporting service delivery during peak demand.

The position requires an actively registered GP with strong communication and decision-making skills; knowledge of SystmOne/OPEL is desirable. Evenings, weekends, bank holidays and additional winter shifts are part of the hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical leadership across urgent primary care services, ensuring safe and responsive patient care.
• Oversee clinical demand and capacity, coordinate resources across triage, appointments and home visits.
• Manage clinical risk and provide expert advice to clinicians and operations teams.
