Job summary

Nottingham City General Practice Alliance is seeking a General Practitioner to join the Primary Care Network, delivering same-day consultations and urgent-care within the primary care setting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists and admin staff, to provide timely, high-quality care and referrals as needed. You will contribute to service development, governance and educational initiatives across the network.

Qualifications

• Experience as a GP within primary care or urgent care settings.
• Ability to make autonomous clinical decisions.
• Strong history-taking, examination, and diagnostic ordering skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide same-day consultations with high-quality patient care.
• Assess undifferentiated presentations and develop management plans.
• Manage medical emergencies within primary care scope.
• Record clear notes and participate in audit activities.
