Job summary

MILLENNIUM TRANSLATIONS LTD is seeking interpreters and translators to cover a range of documents and live interpretation assignments across multiple sectors. The role requires fluency in English and at least one other language, along with a valid enhanced CRB clearance and a UK driving license.

Interpreters will perform consecutive interpretation in real time, often in healthcare, legal and public service contexts, with travel to various sites as required.

Qualifications

• Interpreters must possess a full UK driver’s license and have access to their own vehicle.
• Current, valid Enhanced CRB clearance is required.
• Fluency in English and native language(s) is essential.
• Interpreters should be able to work across settings including healthcare, legal, education and public services.

Responsibilities

• Perform consecutive interpretation in real time with accuracy and completeness.
• Interpret in various settings such as Mental Health, GP practices, hospitals, police, courts and local authorities.
• Drive to and from assignments in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional conduct guidelines.
