The Role

As a Senior Urban Designer, you will:

  • Lead and manage complex urban planning and regeneration projects.
  • Provide strategic planning advice across a range of development types.
  • Prepare and oversee high-quality reports, frameworks, and design-led planning documents.
  • Engage with clients, local authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the planning function.
About You
  • Experience in urban design within the public or private sector.
  • A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning & Design, or a related discipline.
  • MRTPI or working towards chartership (or equivalent experience at senior level).
  • Strong understanding of UK planning policy, legislation, and urban design principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary inputs and managing client relationships.
