Job summary

DX in Cambridge offers an Urban Driver Apprentice programme designed to develop hands-on skills in logistics while training toward a Category C1 (7.5t) licence and Driver CPC. Successful apprentices may progress to a full-time driving role after completion.

You will gain real workplace experience, receive specialist training and support throughout the programme, and benefit from mentorship and potential career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Hold a full UK Category B driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months driving experience.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, reliable and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Assist with urban driving duties as part of training.
• Learn route planning and time management.
• Develop customer service and communication skills during deliveries.
• Support warehouse, depot activities and vehicle checks.
