Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited are currently assisting a market leader based in Grangemouth with a Service Engineer (UPS) role. You will work on UPS, battery and power distribution systems, performing startups, maintenance and emergency repairs across client sites.

The role requires travel to blue-chip sites across the central belt of Scotland and possibly the UK, with overtime opportunities and a generous pension. The salary ranges £40,000–£45,000 with an achievable £60,000 OTE.

Qualifications

• Experience with UPS, batteries or power distribution.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK.
• Background in service engineering or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform startups, maintenance, and emergency repairs on UPS, batteries, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment.
• Travel to client sites across the UK, troubleshooting power systems.
• Provide technical recommendations and collaborate with the service team.
