Job summary

Thurnby Mead Primary Academy in Leicester is seeking a Temporary Upper KS2 Class Teacher from January 2027. This full-time, fixed-term position covers two terms (potential extension) with subject leadership responsibilities. The role requires an outstanding classroom practitioner who improves pupil progress and contributes to school life.

The contract ends on or around August 2027, with termination if the substantive role returns early. Hours: 5 days per week.

• Experience with Upper KS2 and leadership responsibilities.
