Role Overview

Unqualified Maths Teacher at Weston Favell Academy beginning immediately and lasting until Easter 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Use different methods to work productively alongside children, altering teaching styles to what works best for each child.
  • Teach lessons to classes, work one‑to‑one or lead small group interventions.
  • Support children from Year 7 through to Year 11.
  • Be supported by an inclusive, proactive and talented Maths department within the school.
Qualifications
  • High grades in Maths A‑Level and GCSEs.
  • 1st Class Maths Degree from a top UK University.
  • Experience working with students and offering tutoring to GCSE and A‑Level maths students.
  • Be eager to support students with additional needs.
  • All applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK prior to commencement of employment and will be required to provide Home Office stipulated documentation prior to interview.
