Salary: Up to £130 per day

Are you ready to step into the classroom and make a real difference in students’ learning? A secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to join their team and support pupils across a variety of subjects.

About the Role

As an Unqualified Teacher, you will deliver lessons, support student learning, and maintain classroom standards under the guidance of the senior leadership team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical classroom experience and develop teaching skills while contributing to student success.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons and support planned curriculum activities.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive learning habits.
  • Support individual and small groups of students to maximise progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour and progress.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and leadership to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Help create a structured and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to school‑wide initiatives and extra‑curricular activities where possible.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or youth setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classrooms confidently and maintain professional standards.
  • Flexible, resilient and able to adapt to different year groups or subjects.
