About the role

Unqualified Teacher (full time, temporary)

Salford

£450 - £500 per week (salary is dependent on experience and / or qualifications)

Start date: January 2026

The School and Role

Are you looking to gain experience in a school before completing your PGCE? Could you create a positive learning environment and ensure pupils are learning effectively?

Specialist schools in Manchester are looking for an Unqualified Teacher dedicated to making a positive impact on the education and social skills of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

The Unqualified Teacher role will involve delivering pre-planned lessons to vulnerable students aged 11-16 and responding to the pastoral needs of the pupils in a caring and empathetic manner. They have a supportive staff team who effectively share expertise, skills and knowledge and promote an ethos of disciplined behaviour to ensure effective learning. The school are open to applicants from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
