Job summary

Academics Ltd is recruiting Unqualified Teachers to support our strong network of secondary schools in High Wycombe and Buckinghamshire. The role starts September 2026, with pay at £130 per day and excellent training support.

Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree and bring enthusiasm for inspiring learners, plus strong communication, confidence and adaptability to the classroom. DBS assistance is provided.

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in a subject area such as Chemistry, PE, Business Studies, Computer Science, or others.
  • Strong communication skills, confidence and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising students and ensuring they complete pre-planned tasks.

  • Collecting and handing in completed work to the Head of Department.

Role: Unqualified Teacher

Start: September 2026

Pay: £130 per day

Responsibilities

The role of an Unqualified Teacher:

As an Unqualified Teacher, you\'ll play a key role in maintaining classroom continuity during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising students and ensuring they complete pre-planned tasks.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Assisting pupils with questions and providing guidance.
  • Adhering to the school\'s behaviour and safeguarding policies.
