A leading education consultancy in Bristol is seeking an Unqualified History Supply Teacher (Cover Supervisor) to lead pre-planned lessons and maintain classroom engagement. This flexible role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in History or related fields. Candidates should be patient, reliable, and enjoy working with young people. Unqualified History Supply Teacher (Cover Supervisor) roles across Bristol. Pay: £100–£120 per day. Location: Bristol, with placements close to where you live. Driving not required, but always appreciated.

It’s perfect for people with a background or interest in History, such as History graduates, researchers, readers, debaters or anyone who enjoys supporting pupils with understanding people, events and ideas.
As a Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher, you’ll step into the teacher’s shoes for the day. Lessons are already planned for you, so your main job is to lead the class, keep students on track, and create a positive learning environment. You’ll mostly cover History, but schools may also ask you to support other subjects. This does not require any specialist knowledge, because the work is set and your focus is simply on behaviour, engagement and clarity.

You’ll be someone who enjoys working with young people and brings calm positivity into the room. While this role is particularly well suited to people with an interest or background in History, it is open to all applicants, whether or not you are a graduate.
We especially welcome people with experience in youth work, tutoring, mentoring, sports coaching, drama, childcare, summer camps or any people‑focused setting. You’ll need to be reliable, confident, patient and keen to learn, and you must have the right to work in the UK.
You must have the right to work in the UK and an Overseas Police Check (OFPC) for any country you have lived in for 3+ months in the last 5 years.
