Leeds — Full Time, Temporary Contract
Pay rate: £12.46 – £20.37 per hour (depending on experience)

I am recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded Leeds based university for a Technician to join their team on a full time temporary basis. This role will involve supporting practical teaching and research activities, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory, workshop, or technical equipment for teaching and research purposes
  • Support academic staff and students during practical sessions
  • Carry out routine maintenance, calibration, and testing of equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and university procedures
  • Assist with inventory management and procurement of technical supplies
  • Provide guidance on the safe use of specialist equipment and materials
Requirements
